Introduction: about me

Hello!
My name is Olena Berezovska.
I am a doctor, obstetrician-gynecologist, blogger, writer, lecturer, and educator.

I was born in Ukraine 🇺🇦, where I became a doctor as well. In 1996 my family moved to Canada 🇨🇦.
I confirmed my medical diploma and I had worked at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto) in Clinical Research Unit for almost 20 years.

I participated in more than 250 certified educational activities (courses, seminars, conferences, etc.) and continue to learn about new achievements of medicine and science.
In 2017 I founded International Academy of Healthy Life to educate people with medical background and without one.

I couldn’t accept the condition of health care system in postsoviet countries, and medical aggression (obstetric and gynecological aggression) in this old-fashioned and backward world, so around 2003 I started to educate women and my colleges on evidence-based medicine (EBM), especially in obstetrics and gynecology.

In 2008 I started to write books on women’s health. They were published in Canada, Ukraine, and Russia, and sold in many countries. My last 7 books were published by one known Russian publishing house and became bestsellers.

I traveled in many countries (USA, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Spain and others) where I was meeting with my readers and followers, lecturing, including in known medical universities and colleges of Ukraine. I participated in TV and radio programs, my articles were published in well known magazines, including Cosmopolitan and Vouge. So, I became media personality. One day I will publish a book about my interesting life and wonderful people I met.

I think it’s time to share my knowledge of medicine and my experience with English-speaking audience. And I am sure that many my friends will be very happy to know that I’ve created this Instagram account, and on Youtube as well.
